ALISTAIR & JONNY BROWNLEE - RIO 2016 / LONDON 2012

On August 18th at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio, the Brownlee brothers proved to the world that they are two of the finest triathletes ever to grace the sport. Over a hot and hilly course, they dictated the race using their custom Signature Brownlee AIR bikes to decimate the field. Ultimately leading to them taking both the Gold and Silver medals after a grueling run in the Brazilian heat.

This incredible result adds to the success the brothers achieved at the London 2012 games when they took home both Gold and Bronze medals in front of their home crowd and now also means that Alistair is the only triathlete to win back to back Olympic golds. As you can imagine Boardman Bikes are immensely proud to of been a part of both Alistair's and Jonny's quest for success throughout their careers and look forward to supporting their quest further.
