Boardman has a history of making winning race bikes and the Endurance series is no different. The SLR Endurance platform has been designed from the ground up utilising our race winning manufacturing experience, combined with the design intricacies required for a true class leading endurance bike.
The SLR Endurance platform is the perfect companion, whether you are climbing and descending the highest mountain passes or riding hard over the rolling roads of the low lands. It offers pure race bike weight, stiffness and handling combined with the extra stability and comfort required in a bike designed to be ridden all day, every day on the terrain of the most challenging road events and races.
Constructed from Boardman’s highest grade C10 carbon fibre and weighing only 850 grams*, the attention to detail that has gone into the frame is second to none. Tube shapes and profiles designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) allow the R&D team to build in the right properties whilst also ensuring that weight is carefully managed using the right amount of material in the right place. The seat stays have been carefully sculptured to give an element of vertical compliance whilst retaining torsional stiffness and the chain stays are box sectioned for efficient power transfer. The versatile geometry has been refined to enable effective fit, handling and stability for racers and endurance riders alike.
