World-class triathletes
For 2012, Boardman Bikes are continuing with the successful team which won World, European and National titles across the 2008/2009/2010/2011 seasons - with current ITU World Champion and European Champion Alistair Brownlee (one half of the Brownlee Brothers), former World U23 Champion Hollie Avil and 2011 ITU World No2, Sprint World Champion & former World U23 Champion Jonathan Brownlee (the other half of the Brownlee Brothers) alongside 2011 World No9 and former U23 Champion Will Clarke. Pete jacobs covers our Ironman sponsorship - Pete was the Silver medallist at the 2011 Hawaii Ironman World Championships and the 2011 Australian Ironman Champion - all in his first year as a Boardman rider in 2011.
"For the entire team at Boardman, it's always been about nurturing real talent," says Alan Ingarfield, CEO Boardman Bikes, "we see it more as a partnership than a deal. It's really exciting to be involved with such talented individuals."

World-class bikes
"With my own background in Triathlon & Ironman, it has always been one of my main goals to get Boardman Bikes involved with the sport. I've followed them all throughout their careers and I know we've got four fantastic British athletes - all of which have the potential to not only represent our country at the 2012 Olympics, but have a realistic chance of a podium finish. This looks like it's going to be an exciting season again for all of them."
Alan Ingarfield, CEO, Boardman Bikes
"The new Elite Series of bikes that the athletes are riding will give them an edge in their races - we've combined all of our research and development including Olympic and World conquering technology with the specific set-up requirements of the triathletes to create a bike which will allow them to be the best they can be. Just as important, the riders will also be in a position to give us feedback on the bikes as they are put through their paces in competition at the highest levels - giving valuable feedback to inform future ranges."
Chris Boardman MBE, Director of R&D, Boardman Bikes
