Will Clarke was accepted onto the World Class Development Programme at 15 and progressed well to finish his junior years as European runner up and World Bronze medallist. Stepping up to Olympic distance brought further success with runner up at National Championships, 3rd place at Salford ITU World Cup and European and World U23 titles. Qualification for Beijing was earned with 5th place at 2007 World Champs and 6th place at Madrid ITU World Cup in 2008.
2009 goals: A consistent WCS (racing Madrid, Washington, Kitzbuhel, London) and WCS Grand Final.
2009 results: He is the 2009 British National Champion, retaining his title from 2008. Will is the Mazda London Triathlon Champion 2009. Will finished 11th in the WCS Grand Final.
