Hollie Avil
DOB:12/4/90.
Born in Northampton, lives and trains in Leeds.
A former swimmer and runner, Hollie took up the multi discipline sport of triathlon in 2005 and within two years was crowned World and European Junior Champion. In her first Olympic distance race she was 3rd in Ishigaki, Japan and qualified for the Beijing Olympics in Madrid with her 4th place finish. Before going to Beijing she won the National Championships but was sadly unwell at the Olympics so did not finish the race. In 2009, Hollie won the World Under23 title in Australia. After a season of illness and injury, Hollie has relocated to Leeds and with a new coaching team is focused on qualifying for the 2012 Olympics in London.
Hollie will be riding the AiR/9.8.
